Join Us for KC Parks Earth Week Beautification
March 24, 2026

Spring is the perfect time to come together and care for the places that make Kansas City so special. The Plaza District Council is proud to be part of that effort.
We’ll be joining Kansas City Parks and Recreation for a Plaza Area Cleanup along Brush Creek on Friday, April 18 from 1:00–4:00 PM. This event is part of a larger, citywide initiative that brings volunteers together to help keep our parks, waterways, and neighborhoods clean and welcoming.
Events like this are about more than just picking up litter—they’re about building community, fostering pride in our shared spaces, and making a visible impact together.
We invite everyone to join us for the cleanup. Whether you come on your own, bring your family, or gather a group of coworkers, every helping hand makes a difference.
Not able to make it to the Plaza cleanup? No problem! There are volunteer opportunities happening all across the city through KC Parks, so you can find a location and time that works best for you.

At the Plaza District Council, we believe that small actions add up to big change. By working together, we can help ensure that the Plaza District is a clean, vibrant, and welcoming place for everyone.
