The Plaza area's dining scene is set to grow with the announcement of V Modern Italian, a contemporary restaurant concept coming to the new Cocina 47 development at 604 W. 47th Street.

Developed by Fast Fine Restaurant Group, V Modern Italian will offer a modern take on Italian cuisine featuring house-made pastas, seasonal ingredients, handcrafted cocktails, and an extensive wine selection. Created in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Stefano Ciotti, the concept is designed to deliver an immersive dining experience that engages all five senses through food, design, music, and atmosphere.

V Modern Italian is the first confirmed tenant of Cocina 47, a new mixed-use development at the corner of 47th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. The project is expected to bring new energy to the Plaza area with destination dining, vibrant street-level activity, and gathering spaces designed to connect visitors and residents alike.

Expected to open in late 2026 or early 2027, V Modern Italian is another example of the continued investment and momentum taking place throughout the district.
