Join the Plaza District Council for an Earth Week Cleanup Along Brush Creek
March 10, 2026

Each year, Kansas City Parks & Recreation invites community members to help care for our city’s green spaces during Earth Week. It’s a great opportunity to give back, spend time outdoors, and help keep Kansas City looking great.
This year, the Plaza District Council will be participating in the Plaza Area Cleanup Along Brush Creek from 1:00–4:00 PM on April 18th. Volunteers will help pick up litter and beautify the area surrounding Brush Creek, one of the most recognizable natural features in the Plaza District.
Whether you’re a longtime supporter, a nearby neighbor, or simply someone who cares about keeping Kansas City clean and welcoming, we invite you to join us. Volunteering is a simple but meaningful way to make a visible impact in our community while connecting with others who care about this district.
Bring a friend, coworker, or family member and spend an afternoon helping care for the places that make Kansas City special.
