Kavya Shankar

Kavya Shankar is the co-founder and COO of Trust Neighborhoods, a nonprofit focused on creating community-governed real estate where gentrification threatens displacing renters. Kavya grew up in San Jose, CA and has worked in urban and community development as a consultant and policymaker. She’s a resident of Rockhill and serves as the Chair of the City Housing Trust Fund.
