Katie Kwo Gerson

Community Volunteer

Katie Kwo Gerson is a champion of community development in Kansas City and beyond. She is Chairman of University Academy, founder/architect of C3KC, a collaborative conference to spark change for a better Kansas City, and serves on the AltCap Board, United WE, and in leadership for The Junior League. Katie is co-creator of @being_hapa, highlighting advocacy for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB). Katie serves as an Aspen Institute Fellow and alumna of University of Arizona (BS) and University of Missouri-Kansas City (MBA). Katie is a proud resident of the historic Rockhill Neighborhood.
